Juliette Ashby launched her company SoulShack Productions in 2008 with to help promote the wealth of new musical talent Juliette felt was going unnoticed. Being a successful songwriter and artiste herself as well as being surrounded by Grammy award winning writers, producers, artists and musicians she knew that she could provide the best in the industry for music placements for film and TV/ recording sessions/topline writing sessions /sync opportunities and live performances creating the best quality of music to order. SoulShack Productions was born.
Once the production company had been formed the next obvious step was to set up a live showcase arm for the business. Juliette Ashby teamed up with her sister Jessica Ashby and their business partners to honour this vision by launching a live music night which has appropriately come to be known as JJ’s Soul Shack, heled at London’s iconic music venue’s “JAZZ CAFE”. It has showcased and supported the likes of RnB Grammy Award winning artist “Jon B”, Glenn Lewis, Kwabs, Michael Kiwanuka and many more.

Reggae music. Featuring performances with British Reggae
legend MAXI PRIEST and the original rude boy of SKA,
NEVILLE STAPLE (The Specials), with tracks produced by Mike
Bennett (The Smiths/The Fall), JAZZWAD ( Damian Marley &
Sean Paul) and ALAN GLASS (Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha
Franklin). The first single “Build Up The Strong” was supported from BBC RADIO2, BBC
Introducing and BBC6 MUSIC, CRAIG CHARLES FUNK and
SOUL SHOW. Juliette has wowed crowds at the Isle of Wight
Festival and SXSW, Texas, where she gave a knockout
performance at Perez Hilton’s One Night In Austin Party. She
was also handpicked to perform for Russell Simmons and Steve
Rifkind’s label launch ADD52. A deal with VH1 saw her music
Feature on primetime American TV shows Mob Wives, Single

“Bitter Sweet” an acoustic album a collection of
heartfelt songs written and dedicated to her lifelong best friend Amy
Winehouse. The same year Juliette made a very important
decision in assisting the directors with facts and events for the
OSCAR and BAFTA award winning documentary ‘AMY’. Juliette
was a prominent voice throughout the film, which was released
in cinemas worldwide and is now the biggest selling British
